MilTech helps DoD’s developers of innovative technology to improve their manufacturing processes in order to become sustainable suppliers. |

The following criteria are used by MilTech to select and support projects that have the highest technology transition value for the US warfighter. |
| a. |
New, Innovative Product: The technology must be new, innovative and have a plan to either become an end product or be integrated into a larger DoD system. |
| b. |
Support of Deployable Combat Operations: The technology must support DoD’s deployable combat operations. |
| c. |
Demand from DoD: There must be verifiable demand from a program of record within the Department of Defense. |
